FAQ
1. How long does shipping take?
Processing: 1-3 business days. Shipping: 5-10 business days (contiguous US). Large mirrors and stools may ship via freight with extended delivery times (7-20 business days). You'll receive tracking via email.
2. What are shipping costs?
Calculated at checkout based on weight/destination. Free standard shipping on orders over $[amount].
3. Do you ship outside the contiguous US?
Currently, only to the contiguous 48 states.
4. What types of full-length mirrors do you offer?
We offer leaning mirrors, wall-mounted mirrors, and standing mirrors. All our mirrors are made with safety-backed tempered or laminated glass and comply with ANSI Z97.1 (Safety Glazing Materials Used in Buildings) and 16 CFR 1201 (Consumer Product Safety Commission safety glazing standards). These standards require safety glazing materials to reduce the likelihood of cutting and piercing injuries when glass is broken.
5. What types of shoe-changing stools do you offer?
We offer upholstered storage stools and wooden stools with shoe storage compartments. Our stools comply with ASTM F2057-23, the mandatory CPSC safety standard for clothing storage units that meets the requirements of the STURDY Act (Stop Tip-overs of Unstable, Risky Dressers on Youth). This standard applies to units meeting all criteria (minimum height 27 inches, minimum weight 30 lbs, enclosed storage volume at least 3.2 cubic feet). For units covered by the standard, we include anti-tip devices tested to 60 lb static load per ASTM F3096, with permanent warning labels and installation instructions.
6. What types of entrance floor mats do you offer?
We offer entrance floor mats for indoor use. All our mats comply with 16 CFR Part 1630 (Standard for the Surface Flammability of Carpets and Rugs) for large mats and 16 CFR Part 1631 for small mats, which provide a test method to determine surface flammability when exposed to a standard small source of ignition. Mats that do not meet acceptance criteria are permanently labeled as "FLAMMABLE" per CPSC requirements. All entrance floor mats must have a General Certificate of Conformity (GCC) available, certifying compliance with the standard.
7. Do I need to anchor my mirror to the wall?
Yes, we strongly recommend anchoring all mirrors to the wall. While not a mandatory CPSC rule for all mirrors, tip-over of unsecured furniture can cause serious injury or death. We include anti-tip hardware with larger mirrors and provide installation instructions. Always anchor tall mirrors to a structurally sound location on the furniture marked with attachment points.
8. Do I need to anchor my shoe-changing stool to the wall?
For stools meeting the clothing storage unit criteria (≥27 inches tall, ≥30 lbs, ≥3.2 cubic feet enclosed volume), mandatory anchoring is required under 16 CFR Part 1261 / ASTM F2057-23. For smaller stools not meeting the criteria, we still recommend placing on level, stable surfaces and keeping away from children. Units covered by the standard must include anti-tip devices (ASTM F3096, 60 lb static load), permanent warning labels, and installation instructions.
9. What are the safety requirements for children's products?
If any of our products are intended for children 12 and under, they must have a Children's Product Certificate (CPC) based on third-party testing at a CPSC-accepted laboratory, including:
-
Lead in substrate (accessible parts): ≤100 ppm (CPSIA)
-
Lead in surface coating: ≤90 ppm (16 CFR 1303)
-
Phthalates: ≤0.1% total content (DEHP, DBP, BBP, etc.)
-
Small parts: Products containing small parts (fits within 1.25-inch choke tube) are age-graded 3+ and include required choking hazard warning per 16 CFR § 1500.19(b).
10. Do I need a General Certificate of Conformity (GCC) for entrance floor mats?
Yes. All carpets and rugs (including entrance floor mats) manufactured, imported, or sold in the U.S. must be certified with a General Certificate of Conformity (GCC) per CPSC regulations. The manufacturer or importer must provide a written GCC certifying that the product complies with 16 CFR Part 1630 or 1631 based on testing or a reasonable testing program.
11. How do I care for my full-length mirror?
